Abigail Rose is a women’s health practitioner who helps women decode the messages their bodies are trying to send.
After years of living with PCOS, surgery on her ovary, “normal” labs, and being told she might never conceive, she refused to accept that feeling exhausted, inflamed, and disconnected was “just how it is.” She used functional labs, nervous-system work, and deep inner healing to rebuild trust with her own body—and now helps other women do the same.
Through her signature BODY Method™, Abigail blends science-backed lab work, nutritional therapy, advanced kinesiology, and energetic rebalancing.
Whether it’s through her WholeBody Clarity Panel™, the WholeBody Reset System™, PCOS Sprout Program or 1:1 Body Method, her mission is simple:
Your body speaks. We make sense of it.

I first began exploring better ways to improve my health in July 2014, when I was diagnosed with a benign ovarian cyst in my right ovary. The cyst measured 5cm x 5cm x 3cm (which doesn't sound large, but our ovaries are only 3.5cm x 2.5cm x 1.5cm). At the time, I was told there was nothing that could be done and that I was too young to risk surgery. The pain went on for over 2 weeks until it finally ruptured.
After speaking to a second gynecologist, he said that I had only a 5% chance of getting another one this bad. I started to focus on my eating habits, saw a chiropractor for nervous system support, and tried to listen to my body — not really understanding it yet, but trying. At the time I was still eating a lot of fast food, drinking Red Bulls, and carrying high levels of stress I wasn't managing. I was trying everything I saw online, with some consistency, but nothing seemed to resolve the monthly pain.
In October of 2018, I had another cyst in my right ovary that was just as painful and large. I could barely walk into the emergency room, and I was dismissed for my pain. In my chart it read: "pain seems excessive even given the size."
I was curled over in pain — pain that morphine only gave me a slight breath of calm from before it hit me again like a wave. I was sent home and told it would resolve on its own. I told them they'd better be okay with a bad readmission stat, because I could not manage this pain at home. They didn't care. The ED doctor said, "I spoke with the on-call gyno and she recommended you come into the office tomorrow." I left at 4pm.
I went home, managed to eat two bites of pizza, passed out for a few hours, and was up again by 10:00pm in immense pain. It took me 10 minutes to walk up the stairs. I was readmitted. Another ultrasound showed nothing new, no changes. The same gyno came in and told me, "I'll admit you for pain management."
The next morning I met with Dr. Nalla. She listened to me, and offered to do surgery... though it wasn't typically recommended at my age, since surgery itself could cause more damage than what was already there. I elected to have it anyway. Something inside me told me it was needed.
My surgery was supposed to take 2 hours, and I was expected to head home that same day. Soon it was 6pm, and my family hadn't heard anything. 7pm passed. 8pm passed. Finally, close to 9pm, I was out of surgery in recovery.
My ovary had torsion — it was twisted around twice, slowly cutting off blood flow. I was told I was very lucky they caught it when they did; without the surgery, I most likely would have lost my right ovary.
At the time, PCOS (now sometimes called PMOS) wasn't diagnosed often or spoken about much. At my follow-up appointment, I saw the photos and she explained I had a lot of scar tissue on both sides, but especially on the right. I was told it would be difficult to get pregnant. The only thing she recommended was hormonal birth control, which I'd already tried back in 2014 with no success, and only worsening symptoms.
So instead, I focused on getting better through diet, movement, and seeing other alternative practitioners again.
I couldn't believe it. I went to let Mojo outside and I fell down in a sudden rush of pain on my right side. I couldn't walk, and it took me about 15 minutes to get my bearings again. Only a few months later, on June 25th, 2019, my body felt like it had failed me a third time. I already knew it was another cyst. I felt defeated. I had tried everything I knew of... every product I saw online, some odd off the wall programs. I cried.
I spoke to my chiropractor at the time, who knew someone who did Nutrition Response Testing. I wanted to test the waters, to see if it could help me but I wasn't sure. This was something hormonal, something physical. How could supplements I'd already tried just suddenly work?

By the time I saw Dr. Lauren, I was defeated. This was the last thing I was willing to try. I thought, "what's the worst that could happen." I should have said, "what's the best thing that could happen" because it transformed my life.
In under 3 months, I stopped having painful ovulations. I was no longer bloating after a simple meal. I didn't feel fatigued for half of my day.
By October, I signed up to learn Nutrition Response Testing myself — because nothing had ever helped me this much, and I didn't want anyone else battling or feeling the way I had.
December 2019 healed me in many ways. I learned Nutrition Response Testing. I let the ocean heal me. I allowed myself to just be present with myself. I started to realize many unhealthy aspects of my life, including that my marriage was abusive. Nutrition Response Testing not only saved me from my cyst, it saved me from the abuse I didn't realize I was living in.
That training opened doors for me that allowed me to step into helping women, helping people overcome not just the physical, but the emotional and mental too. Everything I've learned has been to help someone like me, like how I was. Someone who is ready to heal at a deeper level, even if you don't yet know what that looks like. I've learned many different techniques, methods, and systems to help guide our bodies on this healing journey.
Here in 2026, I stand with you as your guide in this journey, as a Certified Functional Hormone Specialist, but really, as someone who's lived it. Someone who will always search for and help you find the answers you need.
If you've felt like your body has failed you. If you've been trying to recover from patterns that just keep showing up, again and again. If you just don't feel like yourself, I get it, and I'm here for you.
